The Superintendent Engineer (Distribution) Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDGO), Nagercoil Division 629 001 Kanyakumari District Respondents Prayer:- This Writ Petition has been filed, under the Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari and Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the proceedings issued by the 3rd Respondent in Ka.No.005372/351/Ni.Pi.3/D3/2020, dated 10.06.2020 and the consequential proceedings issued by the 2nd Respondent vide Letter No. 043043/1743/F4/F42/2023, dated 16.03.2023 and to quash the same and to direct the Respondents 2 and 3 to sanction forthwith the pension to the Petitioner along with arrears of pension from the date of his retirement, 1/4
viz. 31.01.2001, by reckoning half of the temporary service rendered by him in the erstwhile Tamil Nadu Electricity Board from 10.12.1983 to 26.09.1991 along with his regular service as per the order issued by the TANGEDCO vide (per) FB TANGEDCO Proceedings NO.31, dated 08.09.2011.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for consideration today, Mr.P.Muthuvel, the learned counsel for the Writ Petitioner, on instructions from the Writ Petitioner, submits that the Writ Petitioner do not want to press this Writ Petition and he wants to withdraw the same and he has also made an endorsement in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition and also filed a letter, dated 03.06.2025, to that effect 2.
Mr.K.Balasubramani, the learned Special Government Pleader for the 1st Respondent has no objection to the aforesaid prayer made by the learned counsel for the Writ Petitioner.

Accordingly, in view of the submissions, the letter of withdrawal, dated 03.06.2025 and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the Writ Petitioner, recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed, as withdrawn. Interim order, if any, shall stand vacated. 2/4
The File is consigned to Record. Consequently, the connected WMPs are closed. There is no order as to costs.
