Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C praying this Court to transfer the investigation in Crime No.210 of 2014 from the file of the second respondent to the file of the third respondent and consequently direct the third respondent to conduct proper investigation in an expeditious manner and to file the final report within the stipulated period.

ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner praying to transfer the investigation in Crime No.210 of 2014 from the file of the second respondent to the file of the third respondent and consequently direct the third respondent to conduct proper investigation in an expeditious manner and to file the final report within the stipulated period.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) for the respondents. 3.Though the petitioner has sought for transfer of investigation, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if the investigation is monitored by the first respondent.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on instruction would submit that the petitioner is a habitual offender.

5. This Court is not willing to go into the merits of the case. However, the first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation conducted by the second respondent and file a final report, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
