ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that his son alleged to have involved in several illegal activities, a criminal case has been registered against him. Though the petitioner is not aware of the information regarding whereabouts of his son, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3.Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's son is a habitual offender and as many as 14 criminal cases are pending against him including the offence under Section 394 I.P.C. and he was absconded. search in the petitioner's premises. Now the petitioner's son has surrendered before the concerned Court on 02.05.2019. 4.Considering the fact that the petitioner's son has surrendered before the concerned Court, nothing survives for further adjudication.
