Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court S-12. To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the petitoner interest at the rate of 18 percentage per annum, for the period of delay from 01.11.19 to 24.01.21, in paying the amounts paid towards the terminal and pension benefits of the petitioner namely EPF Employees Contribution, Gratuity, Encashment of Earned /Sick Leaves and Commutated Value of Pension, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honble Court and without affecting his right to claim balance amounts towards those benefits.

O R D E R

The learned counsel for the respondents and the learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the order passed in the writ petition has been complied with. However, 6% interest, as applicable to the commutation alone is yet to be paid.

2. Thus, the respondents have to look into the issue regarding payment of interest for commutation, in accordance with rules and settle the same accordingly. The Contempt petition stands closed.
