ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's complaint dated 18.05.2025 submitted to the respondent office which has been taken on file in diary No.8164/CR/2025 and pending before the respondent office to be disposed within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. The allegation of the petitioner is that he was tortured by the police officials and that he was also facing criminal charges under the POCSO Act. He states that he was arrested based on a false complaint given by the de facto complainant. Hence, he submitted a complaint to the respondent on 18.05.2025 seeking action against the police officials. Since no action was taken on the said complaint, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that, based on vague allegations, the petitioner cannot, as a matter of right, seek a direction to dispose of his complaint. It is for the respondent to take cognizance of the said complaint on its 2/4

own merits and thereafter pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction as prayed for by the petitioner.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is dismissed.. There shall be no order as to costs.
