Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court S-12, To issue appropriate Writs, Orders or Directions and in particular issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pay the petitioner interest at the rate of 18 percentage per annum, for the period of delay from 01.07.19 to 24.01.21, in paying the amounts paid towards petitioner terminal benefits namely EPF Employees Contribution, Gratuity and Encashment of Earned/Sick Leaves within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honble Court and without affecting my right to claim balance amounts towards those benefits and thus render justice. Though the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-Corporation made a submission that the order passed in the writ petition has already been complied with and the amount due to the petitioner has been settled, however, the learned counsel for the petitioner raised an objection by stating that certain portion of interest is yet to be settled. In this regard, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent authority for the redressal of his grievances. Cont.P.(MD) No.276 of 2022 Court is for settlement of terminal benefits and calculation or otherwise, if objected, to be redressed in accordance with the procedures.
