This Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the second respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members' on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).

3. The petitioner's second son suffered injuries at the hands of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ four persons on 29.09.2014 and in this regard, a case stands registered

in Crime No.424 of 2014. Presently, charge sheet stands filed in such case. The case was initially registered for offences under Sections 341, 294(b) and 323 I.P.C., and also included offence under Section 307 I.P.C. The petitioner presently apprehends danger at the hands of the accused in such case. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition shall stand disposed of with the observation that it will be open to the petitioner to inform particular instances, when he apprehends harm, to the second respondent, who shall then take appropriate action including affording protection to the petitioner as occasion demands.
