ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as 2nd accused, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(B) (ii)(b) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.363 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 07.10.2015, on seeing the police party the petitioner and A1 tried to run away from the scene of occurrence and A1 was secured and found in possession of 2,200 grams of Kanja. The petitioner ran away from the place of occurrence after leaving 2,200 grams of Kanga and a case has been registered under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(B) (ii)(b) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.363 of 2015.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and she has been falsely implicated in this case and A1 has been arrested and enlarged on bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the petitioner ran away from the place of occurrence and she was in possession of 2200 grams of Kanja and the investigation is pending. If she is granted anticipatory bail, she will abscond and she will tamper the evidence.

5. It is seen that the petitioner is alleged to have ran away from the scene of occurrence and A1 was secured and 4400 grams of Kanja found in their possession. In the circumstances, the contention of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) that the petitioner will abscond, if she is granted anticipatory bail, is acceptable.

6. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
