PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying, to direct the Respondent Police to complete the investigation in respect of Crime No.349 of 2016 dated 23.11.2016 and to file the final report before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Ilayankudi, within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. O R D E R
The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner objected to the stranger putting up constructions in the property, in which there was already a decree in favour of the Petitioner. The persons, who are attempted to put up constructions, in spite of the objections made by the Petitioner attacked the Petitioner and her husband, causing injury on both of them, based on which the Petitioner had preferred a complaint with the Respondent police. Based on the complaint, the Respondent police had registered a case in Crime No.349 of 2016. Even after 7 years, the Respondent Police had not completed investigation. Therefore, the Petitioner has come forward by filing this Petition seeking completion of the investigation.
2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the Respondent Police had already been completed the investigation and filed the final report before the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ilayankudi.
