O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to conduct a survey and demarcate/fix the boundaries of the land in Survey No.105A/16G situated at Thirumangalakottai, Keelaiyur Village, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District, with police protection from the third respondent, on the basis of the petitioner's survey application dated 06.12.2025.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been submitted for the survey of the property in question and for demarcation of its boundaries. Page No. 2 of 5

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondents, on instructions, would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the first and second respondents to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 06.12.2025, survey and demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties including the private respondent and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners, the private respondent and other interested parties, if any and that if required, police assistance may be taken.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
