O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to process the application submitted by the third respondent-Temple on behalf of the petitioner on 04.09.2025 and directing the first and second respondents to grant electricity service connection to the petitioner's house.

On a perusal of the records, it is revealed that the petitioner's father had taken the property belonging to the third respondent-Temple on lease and that the new construction has been put up by the writ petitioner. The request for electricity service connection to the petitioner's house property has been made by the third respondent-Temple to the first and second respondents. 2/5

Since the request has emanated from the Temple itself, there cannot be any legal impediment for the first and second respondents to consider the said request and grant electricity service connection to the petitioner's house.

3. In view of the above facts, the first and second respondents herein are directed to consider the application and effect service connection, upon payment of the necessary charges, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
