ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.21 of 2019 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai within a stipulated time as fixed by this Honourable Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.21 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 120(b),406,420 and 506(i) of IPC. He would submit investigation has to be done based on the documents which are in possession of the petitioner, however the petitioner is not parting with the respondent. Hence they are unable to proceed further with the investigation.

3.Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.21 of 2019 pending on his file and file a final report within a period of six months from the date of the receipt of a copy of this Order. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2441 of 2020 relevant records required for investigation and co-operate with the respondent police for investigation.
