ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.1, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 379, 506(ii) of I.P.C. and Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.274 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to non payment for tiffin, a wordy quarrel arose between the petitioner and the de-facto complainant and thereafter, the petitioner along with the other accused attacked the de-facto complainant with aruval and knife and caused grievous injuries to him.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that A2 still under custody and the petitioner is having two previous cases.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
