O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the arrears of rent payable to the petitioner in respect of the petitioner's building situated at Door No.27/5, Plot No.18, Indira Building, Kamarajar Nagar, Swamy Malai Town Panchayat, Kumbakonam Town, Thanjavur District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2025, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the 4th respondent office has been functioning in the petitioner's premises from 07.08.2023. However, the respondents Department have not paid any amount till date. 2/4

Hence, the petitioner has made a representation on 05.12.2025, seeking to pay all the rental arrears. Since the said representation was not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2025 would be considered in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2025, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
