O R D E R

This petition is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.37 of 2000 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Kovilpatti, against the petitioners.

2.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that the case in C.C.No.37 of 2000 has ended in acquittal and the petitioners were acquitted vide judgment dated 21.02.2017 and therefore, nothing survives in this petition. 3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (criminal side), since the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous, this petition is dismissed as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
