O R D E R

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by the Former Assistant Manager of the Indian Bank, Zonal Office, Tirunelveli, seeking a Mandamus for expeditious disposal of his appeal pending before the first respondent.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner has suffered an order of removal from service by way of proceedings issued by the second respondent on 03.04.2024. The petitioner has challenged the said order before the first respondent by way of an appeal dated 15.11.2024. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to consider the appeal presented by the writ petitioner on 15.11.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
