This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to expedite the trial in C.C.No.441 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tiruchirappalli.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent, who is the complainant in C.C.No.441 of 2018 is failed to produce the witnesses and dragging the proceedings. Hence, prays to issue a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial proceedings. 3.Though the learned counsel for the respondent appeared before this Court, he has not offered any explanation for non production of witnesses.

4.In view of the above, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial proceedings in C.C.No.441 of 2018 within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In the event of non 2/4

production of witnesses by the respondent, the trial Court is directed to proceed with the case on merits and dispose of the same within the stipulated period.
