O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed by a retired Superintendent, District and Session Judge Communal Clash cases Court, Madurai, seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents to count 50% of the part time Vocational Instructor service between 01.07.1983 and 31.07.1986 for pensionary benefits.
2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner was appointed as a Part Time Vocational Instructor on 01.07.1983 and worked till 31.07.1986. Thereafter, the petitioner was appointed as a Junior Assistant in St.Joseph Girls Higher Secondary School, Madurai on 06.08.1986 and she continued till 07.12.1988.

It is the further contention of the writ petitioner that the petitioner was selected and appointed as a typist and posted at District Police Office Madurai City on 22.11.1989 and continued till 10.02.1990. Thereafter, the petitioner was appointed as Copyist and posted at District Munsif Court, Uthamapalayam on 24.02.1992 and continuing her service 31.01.1993. Later she was transferred to District Court, Madurai on 01.02.1993 and continued 30.09.1994.
4. The petitioner herein was thereafter transferred to Family Court, Madurai and she worked till 11.01.1996. The petitioner has retired as Superintendent from the District and Session Judge, Communal Clash Cases Court, Madurai on 30.09.2016. Thereafter, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 15.03.2024 to count 50% of her part time Vocational Instructor service period between 01.07.1983 and 31.07.1986 for pensionary benefits. Since the said request has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.
6. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.03.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
