The present Writ Petition has been filed by a Secondary Grade Teacher seeking a Mandamus to issue a direction to accommodate him in the third respondent union.
2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner was initially working as a Secondary Grade Teacher in Panchayat Union Middle School, Sukkiravarapatti, Sivakasi Union, Virudhunagar District. By way of proceedings dated 24.02.2022 of the Chief Educational Officer, Virudhunagar, the petitioner was deployed to Panchayat Union Elementary School, Thompakulam, Srivilliputhur Block.

According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, after the petitioner was deployed from Sivakasi Block to Srivilliputhur Block by way of administrative transfer, atleast 5 teachers have been transferred to Sivakasi Block. According to him, as and when vacancies arise in Sivakasi 2/5
Block, on priority basis he should have been accommodated in Sivakasi Block. Since no orders were passed to the said effect, the petitioner has given a representation to the first respondent herein on 15.11.2024 seeking deployment to his parent union. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.11.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, considering the condition imposed in the order of deployment of the writ petitioner dated 24.02.2022, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
