ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioners have moved this Court for quashing the FIR in Crime No.23 of 2020 registered on the file of Kombai Police Station, Theni District.

3.The defacto complainant Vasantha is present before this Court. She has been duly identified by Mr.Mutharasu, Special Sub Inspector of Police, attached to Kombai Police Station. The defacto complainant states that she has no objection to quash the impugned FIR. No purpose will be served in keeping the prosecution alive.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3460 of 2021 4.The impugned FIR is quashed and this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
