O.Na/A.No.058/2024, dated 26.06.2024, passed by the respondent and quash the same.

O R D E R

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a Lineman employed in the respondent TANGEDCO, challenging the final order of punishment imposed 1/4

by the respondent on 26.06.2024, wherein the petitioner has imposed with a punishment of postponement of increment for a period of six months without cumulative effect.

2. A perusal of the impugned order reveals that the petitioner is having an appeal remedy before the Superintending Engineer, Dindigul. Without filing the said appeal, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, he has got some personal grievances over the appellate authority namely, the Superintending Engineer, Didnigul. Therefore, he requests that some other appellate authority may consider his appeal.

4. This Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. In view of the above said facts, this Court is inclined to pass the following orders: a. The petitioner is directed to file an appeal before the Superintending Engineer, Madurai within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;

b. In case, if the appeal is filed within a period of two weeks, the same shall be entertained by the appellate authority without any reference to the period of limitation; and c. The appeal shall be disposed of within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of appeal.

5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
