O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to include the petitioner as a beneficiary under the Swadhar Scheme for accommodation and maintenance of helpless widows, along with the Destitute Widow Pension (DWP), based on Application No. TN/REV/SVG/I/PORTAL/15JUNE24/8102068.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's application was forwarded by the Special Tahsildar, Kalaiyarkovil, to the Special Tahsildar, Devakottai, vide Letter No.202 of 2024. However, the same has not yet been considered by the Special Tahsildar, Devakottai.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's application will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above submission, the Special Tahsildar, Devakottai, is directed to consider the petitioner's application, taking into account Letter No.202 of 2024 sent by the Special Tahsildar, Kalaiyarkovil, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
