O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue legal heir certificate based on the representation made by the petitioner on 05.01.2021. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the petitioner has to make an application before the Tahsildar of Kumbakonam, whereas, the petitioner has made the representation before the Tahsildar, Thiruvidaimarudhur, and therefore, the same was not able to be dealt with by the respondent.

3.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the Tahsildar, Kumbakonam Taluk and seek for the legal heir certificate by providing all the relevant documents and the same shall be acted upon by the Tahsildar, Kumbakonam and if the petitioner provids all the details, legal heir certificate has to be given to the petitioner. 2/4
