ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to permit the petitioner's husband to take necessary treatment in a private hospital for a period of 60 days by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2020.

2. Heard the leaned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

3. It is seen that originally the petitioner was convicted for the offence under Sections 7 and 13(2) r/w 13(1) (d)(i) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and sentenced to undergo 2 years Rigorous Imprisonment vide judgment made in S.C.No.1 of 2005, which was confirmed by this Court in Crl.A(MD)No.479 of 2010, vide judgment dated 29.10.2018. Subsequently, the Honourable Apex Court had reduced the sentence from two years to one year. In such view of the same, the period of sentence itself would have been undergone by the petitioner. Hence, no further order is required in this petition.
