ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenu, the petitioner's son, namely, Navin Siva, aged about 26 years before this Court and set him at liberty and hand over to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the petitioner lodged a complaint alleging that his son was missing before the second respondent. However, on the enquiry revealed that the petitioner's son was missing at Bangalore. Therefore, the petitioner was advised to lodge complaint before the jurisdictional police for appropriate action. 4. In view of the above, the direction sought for in this petition as against the second respondent cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
