Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to take immediate action (a) to measure the land allotted to the petitioner by the Respondent No.1 department in Survey No.243/18 at Thirumangalam Taluk, K.Puliyagulam Village comprising 0.08.8 acres and handover the possession of the said land to the Petitioner by marking boundaries (b) To direct the Respondents to allot two acres of agricultural land to petitioner as per the communication issued by Respondent No.9 to Respondent No.6 in Na.Ka.No.2824/2007/A3 dated on 13.06.2007 (c) To provide patta to the petitioner for the land in Survey No. 243-13A at Thirumangalam Taluk, K.Puliyangulam Village comprising 0.44.5 ares by measuring and marking the boundary in the said land in accordance with law.

ORDER
The petitioner has sought more than one relief. The prayer for allotment of two acres of agricultural land cannot be accepted. In fact, this request made by the petitioner was considered and rejected vide communication dated 20.08.2009. In that rejection order, it has been stated that 0.08.0 ares land in Survey No.243-18 at K.Puliyagulam Village, Thirumangalam Taluk have been allotted to the petitioner. The respondents 5 to 7 are directed to earmark the aforesaid land and also hand over possession of the land by marking four boundaries. This exercise shall be carried out within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
2.This writ petition is partly allowed. No costs. 09.07.2024 skm 3/5
