O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the 2nd respondent to register the case based upon the petitioner's complaint dated 08.10.2015.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 08.10.2015, a case in Crime No.161 of 2015 was registered by the 2nd respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 324 and 506 (ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act.

3. In view of the above stated position, the 2nd respondent is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.161 of 2015 and file a final report in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
