ORDER
The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the third respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of an enquiry.
2.Mr.R.Karunanidhi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that on 03.02.2021, the Sub-Inspector of Police, Thiruvengadam Police Station directed the petitioner to go over to the police station in connection with an enquiry, eventhough the earlier complaint lodged by the fourth respondent was closed as early as on 31.07.2020.
3.Mr.Erottusamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would contend that the complaint lodged by the fourth respondent was registered in CSR.No.339 of 2020 and after conducting enquiry, the same was closed on 31.07.2020. His further contention is that the complaint lodged by the petitioner against the third respondent was registered in Current Paper No.G7/576/SP/TEN/2021and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2436 of 2021 is posted for enquiry.
4.In the circumstances, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the said petition strictly based on findings and on merits within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.
5.With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
