Respondent PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records relating to the proceedings in Cr.M.P.No.8396 of 2013 filed under Section 125(3) of Cr.P.C on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukkottai and quash the said proceedings as against the petitioners herein.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Cr.M.P.No.8396 of 2013 filed under Section 125(3) of Cr.P.C on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukkottai.

2. When the matter was posted for admission on 29.10.2015, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought adjournment and on his request, the matter was posted in month of November-2015. Thereafter, he has not taken any steps to list the matter for admission. The matter is pending for more than 3-1/2 years, without admitting and without directing the notice.

3. It clearly shows that the petitioner has no interest to proceed with the case. At this stage, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
