ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to comply with the order passed by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, 1/4

Kumbakonam in Crl.M.P.No.946 of 2024 dated 21.08.2024 or direct the respondent to register FIR and investigate the matter in manner known to law.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, submitted that the proposed accused has already been arrested and is currently in judicial custody in connection with another case. However, it was stated that the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kumbakonam, in Crl.M.P. No. 946 of 2024 dated 21.08.2024, would be complied with for the purpose of investigation upon the release of the accused from custody.

3. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to comply with the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kumbakonam in Crl.M.P.No.946 of 2024 dated 21.08.2024, once the proposed accused is released.
