ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent to file the final report in Cr.No.222 of 2016. 2.The case was initially registered on 04.09.2016 and referred charge sheet has been filed before the concerned Judicial Magistrate Court in the year 2017 by closing the case as further action dropped. Challenging the same, the petitioner filed a protest petition in Crl.M.P.No.4822 of 2017 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar and the same was ordered on 10.11.2017 by directing the respondent Police to re-investigate the case in Cr.No.222 of 2016. Now, the petitioner filed the present petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to file the final report.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that even after further investigation, they have not found any materials to proceed with the case and therefore, they filed referred charge sheet in RCS.No.282 of 2023 before the learned Judicial 2/4

Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar and RCS notice was also served on the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner has already filed another protest petition before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar and the same is posted for hearing on 24.06.2024. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the pending protest petition before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar. 03.06.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes gns To 1.The Inspector of Police, Kariyapatti Police Station, Virudhunagar District.
