ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petition mentioned assessment pertaining to the writ petitioner is in relation to half of the ground floor of the petition mentioned building. The demand reads that the petitioner must pay half year tax of Rs.8,727/-. When the petitioner sought to remit the said amount, it was not accepted by the corporation officials on the ground that in their system, the figure reflected was Rs.14,018/-. The petitioner therefore submitted a representation for correcting the error in the system.

3. The second respondent is directed to conduct inspection and enquire into the petitioner's complaint and dispose it of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
