This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.5 of 2022, registered by the 1st respondent police for the offence under Section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, dated 27.09.2022,
2. After numbering the Crl.O.P this case was listed on 20.02.2023. Thereafter, at the request of the petitioner counsel the matter was adjourned periodically on 07.03.2023, 30.03.2023 and 03.07.2023 respectively. On 03.07.2023 when the matter was taken up for hearing the learned counsel undertake to argue the case on 17.07.2023 and this Court also directed that no further adjournment will be given on that day. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed for default.
