Prayer in CRL OP(MD)No.10546 of 2021:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the Second respondent herein to expedite the investigation in Crime No.97 of 2020 dated 21.01.2020 and file a Final report within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition is filed to to punish the respondents / contemnors for their willful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD).No.10546 of 2021, dated 04.08.2021.

2. This Court by order dated 04.08.2021 issued a direction to the respondents herein to complete the investigation process and file final report within a period two months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he has sent a contempt notice dated 22.12.2021 and the respondents have received the same on 23.12.2021, but, so far the final report has not been filed.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the investigation has been completed and the charge sheet was filed before the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai on 07.02.2022 and the same is yet to be taken on file.

5. It appears that only subsequent to the contempt notice of the petitioner final report has been filed and the same is yet to be taken on file, this Court Court directs the Court concerned to process the charge sheet within the time stipulated as per Rules.

6. With the above observation, the Contempt Petition is disposed of.
