****** C O M M O N O R D E R These petitions have been filed seeking to quash the cases registered in Crime Nos.91 and 92 of 2014 respectively on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same.

2. It is seen that a case in Crime No.91 of 2015 for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC., has been registered against the petitioners / Accused in Crl.O.P.(MD) 20784/2015 and in respect of Crime No.92 of 2015, a case has been registered for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324 and 506 (ii) of IPC.

3. When these matters are taken up for hearing, the petitioners/Accused and the second respondent in both cases, appeared in persons and their identifications were also verified by this Court, in addition to the confirmation of the parties by the Government Advocate (Crl.Side) through the respondent Police.

4. The counsel appearing on either side filed two separate memos of compromise duly stating that since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement by way of compromise among themselves, the second respondent has agreed to withdraw the above cases, pending on the file of the first respondent.

5. Considering the nature of allegations and also considering the memos of compromise, this Court is of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served in keeping these matters pending. Therefore, the entire proceedings in Crime Nos.91 and 92 of 2014 on the file of the 1st respondent, are hereby quashed.

6.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petitions are allowed on the basis of the compromise entered into between the parties. The joint compromise memos shall form part of this common order. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (Crl.side) /True copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To:
