For Respondent : Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR BAIL Under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.135 of 2014 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A.12, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.12.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 120 (b), 147, 148, 302, 294(b), 324, 506(2) and 212 IPC, in Crime No.135 of 2014, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the trial Court has examined all the witnesses except the Investigating Officer and the case stands posted for examination of the Investigating Officer. 3.It is not in dispute that since the petitioner has not appeared for the hearing on 06.08.2021, Non-Bailable Warrant was ordered to be issued and the same was executed on 18.11.2021 and he is still in judicial custody.

4.Since the trial is at the fag end, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this point of time. However, this Court is of the view that the trial Court may be directed to complete the trial within a time frame fixed by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.2698 of 2022 5.Accordingly, the learned Sessions Judge is directed to complete the trial and dispose of the case within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
