Prayer in CRL MP(MD)NO.11943 of 2016:

Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to relax the condition imposed upon the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.20052 of 2016 dated 19.10.2016.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.A.SIVASUBRAMANIAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mrs.S.PRABHA, Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- The petitioner has filed this petition to extend the time limit fixed by this Court in Crl.M.P(MD)No.11943 of 2016 in Crl OP(MD) No.20052 of 2016, dated 02.12.2016.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. When the matter came up for hearing on 17.04.2017, it was represented by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) that due to illness, the petitioner did not appear before the respondent police for two days. Hence, this Court directed the petitioner to pay a sum https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of Rs.500/- to the account of 'Karuvelam Trees' and the petitioner has filed a cost memo to that effect.

4. Considering above said facts, the condition imposed on the petitioner is relaxed. However, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police on 01.05.2017 and on 01.06.2017 and after that as and when required for interrogation.
