PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.18/2022 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.01.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 174(3) IPC @ 306 IPC in Crime No.18 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the deceased Rekha was married with one Murali and she borrowed Rupees one lakh from the petitioner. Since she was not able to return back the said money in time, the petitioner tortured the deceased by asking his money back, she committed suicide. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the husband of the deceased borrowed money from the village people and due to that there was family quarrel between the deceased and her https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

husband. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 22.01.2022. Hence, he seeks bail. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there was extra marital affair between the parties and that the investigation is not yet completed.

5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged and also the fact that the investigation is in early stage, as stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
