The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that this Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second Respondent to file the final report in Crime No.78 of 2022 pending on the file of the second Respondent.

2. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is arrayed as Accused in Crime No.78 of 2022 on the file of the second Respondent. This Petition is filed seeking direction against the Respondents 1 and 2 to complete the investigation within a specified time and file final report.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions of the Respondent Police, submits that investigation completed in April - 2022 itself, but, had not filed final report before the Court concerned. The Respondent Police is directed to file a final report within a period of 15 days.
