This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey and fix the boundaries for the petitioner's assignment land situated to an extent of 3 cent in Survey No.1114/3 - Plot No.71 as per the first respondent vide his assignment order in Aath.Vi.Ma:20/1405, dated 14.12.1995 and Survey No.1120/2 to an extent of 9 1⁄4 cents, as per the sale deed in Doc.No. 363/1966, dated 01.03.1966 on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Puliyankudi in both situated at Narayanapuram Part I, Aathuvazhi Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District, based on his representation and fee remittance dated 05.12.2023.

2. By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he has made a representation to the respondents in person on 05.12.2023, seeking to survey his land and fix 2/5

four boundaries by enclosing necessary documents. But till date no action was taken by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Considering the above said facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity to the parties concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
