..Respondents PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondents herein to provide police protection to the petitioner to enjoy the property as per the civil Court decree in O.S.No.65 of 2007 on the file of Sengottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District and as well as on the basis of settlement deed document No.5082 of 1969 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Tenkasi.

O R D E R

This direction petition is filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner to enjoy the property as per the Civil Court decree in O.S.No.65 of 2007 on the file of Sengottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District and as well as on the basis of settlement deed document No.5082 of 1969 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Tenkasi.

2.The petitioner seeks police protection for enjoying his property through his representation dated 28.08.2015. Now, 3-1/2 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. 3.In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
