This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondents no.1 to 3 to provide police protection by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.01.2024. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner has lodged a complaint against the private respondents and the private respondents have also lodged a complaint against the petitioner and based on the same, a case and case in counter were registered and the same were enquired and closed by the respondent police. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication. 2/5

3.Considering the prayer of the petitioner, without issuing notice to the private respondents, this Court is inclined to close the petition by preserving the liberty of the parties to lodge complaint against the persons, who indulges in criminal activities.
