ORDER
This revision petition has been filed for a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif Court, Thoothukudi, to dispose of I.A.No.3 of 2021 in O.S.No.27 of 2021 within a time frame. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the revision petitioners/plaintiffs for themselves and in the representative capacity for the members of CSI Thoothukudi - 1/3
Nazereth Diocese, has filed the above suit in O.S.No.27 of 2021 against the respondent herein/1st defendant herein and other defendants, to declare the amendment to Chapter-10 Rule-6 of Thoothukudi - Nazereth Diocese and the notice dated 16.12.2020 issued by the respondent herein/1st defendant as null and void and for permanent injunction restraining the 1st defendant from collecting Rs.600/- towards payment for the sangam. Pending the above suit, the revision petitioners/plaintiffs filed I.A.No.3/2021 to restrain the respondent herein from collecting Rs.600/- as sangam amount. He would further state that when the said I.A came up for hearing on 09.02.2021, though the Court below issued notice to the respondent and posted the matter for compliance of Order 1 Rule 8 CPC, since the last date for payment of sangam for becoming eligible as voter is 31.03.2021, the petitioner has come forward with the present revision petition. Thus, he would pray for direction to expedite the disposal of the above I.A.
3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Though notice sent to the respondent through Court, awaits service, the private notice has been served on the respondent and the proof has been filed, but the respondent is not represented either by himself or through counsel.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without adverting to the merits of the case, the learned Principal District Munsif Court, Thoothukudi, is directed to dispose of I.A.No.3 of 2021 in O.S.No.27 of 2021 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
