This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the third respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 14.05.2019. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that earlier, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered against the respondents 4 to 6 herein and the same is pending. Pending investigation, they are threatening the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner made a complaint https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
dated 14.05.2019 to the respondents 1 and 2, seeking police protection. Since the same has not been considered, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner has been enquired into by the second respondent and the respondents 4 to 6 have appeared for enquiry and given undertaking that they will not cause any disturbance to the petitioner and recording the above undertaking, the complaint was closed.
5.In view of the said submission, no further order is necessary in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
