O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.) This Habeus Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to produce the person or body of the petitioner's wife the detenue namely Keerthika, w/o.Sivasubramani, D/o.Aarumugapandi aged about 24 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. The petitioner got married one the detenue and living together. While being so, she was missing from the matrimonial home on 18.01.2026, therefore the petitioner lodged complaint before the second respondent and the same has been registered in Crime No.28 of 2026 under 'Woman missing'. During investigation the detenue made statement before the second respondent that due to mis understanding between herself and the petitioner she on her own volition left the matrimonial home. Further when she approached her parents they compelled her to live with the petitioner, since the petitioner is a rich person. Further she stated that she does not want to go either with the

petitioner herein or her parents. Now she is residing in Coimbatore on her own.

3. A perusal of the record reveals by the second respondent that the alleged detenue is not under illegal detention of any one.

4. In view of the same, the petition stands dismissed.
