Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to furnish the cancellation of Assignment order to the petitioner and further direct the respondents herein do not interfered with the petitioners peaceful possession and enjoyment of the assignment property in Survey Nos. 842/4, 843/1, 843/4, 845/5, 841/3, 841/4, 841/5, 841/6, 841/7, 846/5, 846/7, 845/7, 844/9 and 844/10 situated at Koovanuthu Village, Dingiul Taluk, Dindigul District based on his representation dated 25.10.2023. Heard both sides.

2. Though the writ prayer is in two parts, the scope of this writ petition is confined to the first part of the writ prayer alone.

3. The petitioner is permitted to be present in the office of the fourth respondent on 05.03.2024 at 03.00 pm. The office of the fourth respondent will furnish a copy of the cancellation order to the petitioner. It is for the petitioner to work out his rights in the manner known to law thereafter if any. If there is no such cancellation order, the petitioner may be informed in writing. 2/4
