ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) It is the case of the petitioner that he had donated four old buses to Sourashtra Girls Aided Higher Secondary School, Anuppanadi, Madurai in the year 2019 and that the said School is unable to pay the necessary motor vehicle taxes to the department and therefore, the petitioner has filed the above writ petition as a Public Interest Litigation.

2. In the opinion of this Court, the above prayer will not fall within the ambit of Public Interest Litigation, inasmuch as it is for the said School to approach the Government for exemptions under the Act, if any and if they are eligible.

3. In such view of the matter, this petition is devoid of merits and the same is accordingly dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the School to approach the appropriate authority in the manner known to law. No costs.
