The Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking orders to modify the condition imposed by the learned learned Principal District and Session Judge, Pudukkottai, in Crl.M.P.No.62 of 2022, dated 06.01.2022, directing the petitioners to appear and sign before the Inspector of Police, Town Police Station, Ramanathapuram District, daily at 10.30 am and 05.00 pm until further orders. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 17.02.2022, this Court has directed the petitioner to comply with the directions issued by the learned Principal District and Session Judge, Pudukkottai.

CRL OP(MD). No.2782 of 2022 3.Today (i.e., 25.02.2022), when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners 1 and 2 have appeared before the concerned police for two days and the petitioners 3 and 4 have appeared before the concerned police for five days. He would further submit that the petitioners are residents of Aranthangi and they have some difficulties to travel from Aranthangi to Ramanathapuram and that too both times morning and evening.
4.Considering the nature of the offence alleged against the petitioners and that the petitioners are not having any bad antecedents, this Court is inclined to modify the conditions and the petitioners are directed to appear before the Inspector of Police, Town Police Station, Ramanathapuram daily at 10.30 am for a period of 10 days and thereafter, shall appear before the respondent Police until further orders. The petitioners are at liberty to approach the learned Principal District and Session Judge, Pudukkottai for further modification or relaxation.
