ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Special Judge for Trial of SC/ST (POA) Act Sessions Court, Dindigul, to accept the surrender of the petitioners/ accused in connection with Crime No.10 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent police and to consider the petitioner's bail application on the same day.
2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.
3.The case of the prosecution is that on 20.01.2026 at about 11.30 p.m., the defacto complainant, on hearing loud noise from a twowheeler, came out of his house and noticed the accused riding the vehicle in a rash and alarming manner in the complainant's street, and when the defacto complainant along with his parents questioned the 2/5
same, the accused abused them in filthy language and assaulted them. Based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, FIR in Crime No.10 of 2026 came to be registered for the offence under Sections 296(b) and 115(2) BNS and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of SC/ST (POA) Amendment Act, 2015.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the Special Judge for Trial of SC/ST (POA) Act Sessions Court, Dindigul, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.10 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent police. The petitioners shall surrender before the learned Trial Court within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
