Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner seeks re-issuance of passport. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) informed the Court that the case registered against the petitioner has now culminated in C.C.No.175 of 2021 on the Judicial Magistrate, Srivaikundam. Therefore, the petitioner has to necessarily move the jurisdictional Magistrate for permission. As and when such an application is filed, the jurisdictional Magistrate is directed to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks thereafter. 2/4
